how do I 18F not feel bad about my 19M boyfriend spending money?
I'm 18F and he's soon to be 19M, he's been financially 'okay' for 2 years and has been spoiling me for these past years. I know I should be happy, but I can't help but feel bad. It started out being small gifts, but at the end of last year, he gifted me something with over 100€ for Christmas. I was happy because it was something I wanted for a long time, but that's when I started feeling guilty and bad. This year, he bought me an iPad for over 600€ because I needed a new one. That was literally the end of me.. How can I stop feeling bad for him spoiling me? I feel like I don't deserve this and I'm not sure how to pay him back..
For maybe more context, he messed up really bad at the beginning of our relationship. I thought he wanted to buy my love back when he first started, but now it's been going on for years and I don't feel like he's doing it to manipulate me, because that would've been absurd, wouldn't it?
I can't seem too happy because I don't want to seem like a gold digger, who's only with him for money, but if I'm not happy, he's sad. I genuinely feel guilty and bad for spending his money, even though I never ask him for anything. I really don't know what to do, even if it may seem silly for other people.
