Help us choose a venue: The Mississauga Grand vs. The Vue

Hello! FH and I are looking to get married in January 2027 with about 90-100 guests. We toured these two venues today and are on the fence. Has anyone had experience with either and can share their opinion?

Both venues are about the same distance from the church with ample parking. Reception is from 5:30 pm to 1 am. Both venues can hold 2 weddings per day. Neither of us are particular about the food menu and both venues can accommodate dietary restrictions.

The Vue is $115 per person (HST included) + $950 DJ plug in fee + $250 mandatory security. The Mississauga Grand is $123 per person (HST & gratuity included).

The Vue Pros:

-Overall, the layout and floor plan here is better. The bar is across the sweetheart table. Right behind the sweetheart table are glass windows that allow natural light in the room. -Washrooms are exclusively for our guests. The other wedding has their own. -Bridal suite is on the same floor for easier access

The Vue Cons:

-Slightly more expensive than Mississauga Grand with the extra fees -Dance floor slightly smaller -Minimum adult guest count is 100

Mississauga Grand Pros:

-We found the manager here to be warmer compared to the Vue’s -Slightly more affordable than the Vue with no extra fees -Dance floor slightly larger -Minimum adult guest count is 95

Mississauga Grand Cons:

-Shared washrooms with the other wedding -Bridal suite is on the second floor -No windows

We will have to sleep on it but wanted to get other people’s thoughts. Thank you in advance!
