I need advice about my relationship with my non-believer boyfriend

Hello, I’m F (28 years old). I’m in a relationship with an atheist guy. Technically, he is Buddhist by background but has never practiced, and he told me he’s a non-believer. We’ve been dating for almost 10 months. During this time, he has always accompanied me to attend Mass and he is very thoughtful.

Sometimes we have small arguments because of our different perspectives, but in the end, he always responds wisely. He is so loving.

He told me that he is getting serious with me. I also explained to him about the rules of Catholic marriage, and he agreed with that.

But the thing that makes me afraid is the possibility that he might change in the future. I don’t know why I keep thinking about this. I’m worried because I feel like he doesn’t have any “anchor” or direction in his life since he doesn’t follow any religion. Or maybe I am wrong. Actually, I have already discussed this with him, and he promised that he would not do anything bad, and for him, marriage is once in a lifetime.

Can you give me some advice? Especially about being in an interreligious marriage.

Thank you so much 😊
