Prater’s Size Being an Asset

One aspect of the final episode that I found not clever was Prater not being clever enough to use his size to his advantage against Dexter and not be such an easy kill for Dexter. Once he killed Batista they made him such easy prey to Dexter when (you would think?) that he was intelligent enough to be some sort of “self-made billionaire” to better combat him. Why wasn’t his vault of atrocities more proofed against taller people? And I do realize that he had serial killers as guests so doors into it had to accommodate the serial killers. But he could always just brought in those ceilings inside there down so those of average height would have to stoop inside there and I think it would be understandable. Also, just some extra exit doors suited only for someone of his height would have been a no brainer for someone with such an illegal operation going on. The writing for Prater was in retrospect very shortsighted.

And before anyone accuses me of this, that was no pun intended. I just don’t know of any phrase equivalent to “shortsighted”.
