About undervolting..

PERFORMANCE

I am a complete rookie, Guys I have a Lenovo LOQ with RTX 4060 and a intel i7-HX 13.gen CPU. When gaming, I look at my temps and they are going insane somethimes. I use some books to lift back of my laptop, I limit the FPS to 100ish. Lower settings etc. those just help a little bit but temps can easily go 85 and above.

But there is something strange( it's actually not I just haven't seen anyone doing this) when I enable power saving mode from windows, my temps goes nearly 10 degrees down 75ish.

Should I still undervolt? Intel HX CPUs get really hot, and as I said I'm a complete rookie, is it possible to breake or brick anything while doing so cuz I have no idea what I'm doing.

Is there also downsides of undervolting?

Any advice will be appreciated thanks in advance:)
