Poe2 is a good game, but a nightmare for casuals.

This is not a rant about the good or bad about the game, or even endgame.

It is still in early access, so a lot improvements have been made and more will be made. Clearly from how good this league is.

But this post is only about the campaign and getting to maps. From a very casual player.

I can not play everyday, or and when i do. I cant put in more than 2 hours a day.

Therefore, a week after launch, im still stuck in campaign. Not because it is difficult, confusing or anything of that sort. It is just way too long. Act 5 and 6 arent even out yet and its taking what +25h to finish campaign and interludes?

Thats way too long. With act 5 and 6, how long will the campaign be? +30-35h?

And a new league comes out every 3-4 month? This is not a reasonable length for a campaign.

I get that the campaign feels alive and there is a lot interactive quests to do. And i do like them.

But i feel like way too much focus has been put on campaign when it should be more in maps. It is maps that should feel the most alive and interactive imo.

The response will probably be something like, well play standard. Why? Its not a new league, there isnt new stuff added and there isnt a new experience.

Poe1 new league campaign takes me around 10-12h on avg to finish. I wouldnt mind poe2 to take 15-20h to finish, but more than that is just not reasonable

That is my only take for this league. I will probably finish interludes tomorrow and get to play the ACTUAL game of poe2...
