Dear fellow guitarists,
I am delighted to share that I have recently acquired a beautiful piece of technology, my very first electric guitar. As a 25-year-old male, I currently reside with roommates in a new country. A device that allows for quiet practice with a headphone jack and built-in effects, ensuring minimal disturbance to others in the room? Heck yes.
I have long desired to learn the guitar, but I hesitated to ask my father for an electric one, as they were more expensive in my hometown. I decided to purchase one myself once I was financially independent. Today, I finally made that dream a reality and acquired a lovely Enya Inspire guitar.
The real challenge lies in finding a single, effective online teacher to follow, as there are numerous learning resources available. Additionally, while the OKMusician app accompanying the guitar seems intuitive and enjoyable, its VIP access is limited to seven days, and the lack of genuine reviews makes me hesitant to commit to a $100 annual subscription.
I would greatly appreciate your assistance in understanding this, and I am also seeking advice on how to properly care for this guitar and utilize its full capabilities. Any and all information you can provide would be incredibly helpful, as I am simply an adult hoping to bring joy to my inner child.
Thank you and have a lovely day :)

My first electric guitar, please help 🥺
