After about 1500 hours of gameplay, I'm now so close to getting 100% of the achievements. I first came across HOI4 when I was about 15 yrs old on YouTube back in 2018 but at time I didn't have my own pc let alone a phone. I loved the concept of the game when I first saw it as I used to play RTS games such as generals and red alert. It was like the RTS I'm used to but on a grand scale. It later faded at the back of my head down the line but on Christmas in the year 2023, I bought the game because it was on sale. Though I started playing it at November of 2024 as I was starting off my freshman year in college. I immediately got hooked on the gameplay as I doing my first WC. I didn't realize that it would take me from morning to noon just to finish it. I was so locked in that when I looked through my window it was already so dark outside.

As I'm now close to finishing my achievement runs, I'm thinking into playing more mods or I might move on to Stellaris as I already have the game. No one in my friend group plays the game as the Grand Strategy genre is quite overwhelming for them however I was able to meet new friends through HOI4. The multiplayer games where challenging but fun. I found myself to be so fond of Grand Strategy more than when I played FPS or Gacha games as it felt like a chore playing it and get tired after an hour or two. But HOI4 made me lose track of time, it was genuinely insane when I first noticed it.

I hope more people will play HOI4 in my country (Philippines) as most people here either play MOBA or FPS. I feel like an outcast here lmao. Anyways still waiting for the tannu tuva DLC.
