Just diagnosed, great community here, thank you all
Like so many of you, I have just been diagnosed (3 days) with endometrial cancer. The pathology report was available online and no call or communication with my obgyn yet, so all I really know so far is that the cancer is arising in the polyp, FIGO Grade 1, normal p53, wild type, ER positive, MMR intact, and not enough surrounding tissue to determine more at this point. I've learnt from all of you not to presume the best (if you're going to have a cancer, it's the best one...) or the worst, and also don't have any expectations until the hysterectomy results come in. There is a lot more still to learn, but I'm really glad you're all here and hope I'll be able to contribute, too, as I move along this totally unexpected and not at all welcome journey.
