How do y’all prevent splashback?

so im 18, i recently started using urinals again because i wanted to be more of a “man” if that makes sense since ive been using stalls all my life lol, but uhhh yeah how the hell do you stop splashback? and how do you not get so nervous because sometimes i’ll be decently nervous and just shove my dick back into my pants that it ends up not feeling right so im stuck having to adjust like am idiot for like 30 minutes in public..
