Lenovo yoga battery life

I purchased a lenovo yoga 2 days ago for college after being told it had around 14 hours of battery life. I just turned it on there and even though it is fully charged and has all energy saving recomendations turned on it says it has a 2 hour battery life. Whats going on here? Did i just get completely scammed. I paid 1500 for this!!!
