Frequency of posting

Hey guys. I picked the Self Promo flair just in case.

I'm currently writing my first English novel on RR: Chains of The Washed which I'm very happy with so far. The views I'm getting are maybe not the best, but I'm just genuinely happy that there are people who actually read all 10 chapters that've been released so far.

So, I'm now 10 chapters deep in my story and just over a week since I started posting. I've been posting daily but now I've gone over to a 2 chapters per week schedule in order to not run out of backlog chapters, but also in an effort to give myself time to make the chapters engaging and hopefully fun to read.

But I've also seen a lot of fresh fics that're posting daily and have followers, comments and reviews, you name it. Which makes me wonder if frequency of posting is just as important as the quality of each chapter, and that I should've made a huge backlog before starting serialization on RR.

Now my question is, was my decision maybe a bit of a mistake? Is it better for me to post daily and burn through my backlog, (which isn't very large tbh) or should I keep to my schedule which might run the risk of losing the few readers I might've gained during this past week?
