D5 Dive Watch Not Responding

I have a D5 that is 2 years old.

When attached to the USB cable, I can see the screen is lit. It is still dark, no numbers, letters, time, etc. When I detach the cable, the screen is totally black, not powered.

It has been attached and plugged in for several hours. It should be charging, but the battery charging symbol is not showing.

Any thoughts on what might be happening?

How do I do a soft and/ or hard reset?
