Help me fall in love with deck again.

Essentially I bought the steam deck originally to play BG3 portably. I then found a bunch of other games I could play but since my fixations change like the breeze I struggle to stay interested in one game at a time. I'm also a fan of modding my games and while I was able to somewhat do this with Kotor 1 and 2, other games have not been my friend. Me1 ending crashed so much I had to use save editor to pick my final choices and then import to 2. Modding a collection from Skyrim over the last few days has been the bane of my life.

Perhaps I need a list of games that don't rest have any mod support but are also fantastic on deck that way I'm not tempted to try and download 1600 mods like a madman and get frustrated.

Any help or suggestions appreciated. I imagine there will be a comment or two saying: "just stop modding" but it's really not that simple at times especially when a game is made 10x better due to it.

Tl;Dr please suggest me some stuff to play on deck that I won't need a day to mod prior. I am open to abandonware suggestions as well or any other tricks I may not know about the deck to help peak my interest again.
