AITA for basically ghosting this guy I was just talking to?

I (19 F) had started talking to this guy (23 M) just over a week ago. I have problems with socializing in person and over text 90% of the time, and I also struggle with social cues. Within a day of talking to him, I began to feel a bit weird about him. I sometimes take a bit to respond bc I’m not always on my phone 24/7 and I always have my phone on DND. I’ve had to explain to him a total of 29 times within 6 days about my struggles with socializing. However, I wasn’t taking as long to respond to him but I wasn’t quick enough for his liking. He’d say things like; “Okay, I’ll leave you alone now…” “Do you hate me?” “Where’d you go?” “Are you mad at me?” and honestly it got on my nerves. Even after explaining I was with my best friend, he still would get annoyed I wasn’t answering him right away, and yes, he knew I was with her. Here’s how the conversation with him went 3 days ago;

Him: Doing anything fun?

Me: Not rlly

Him: Ok I’m sorry for even messaging…

Me: What

Him: Still seems like you’re pissed with me

The night before we had an argument bc I didn’t know how to respond to something random he said and he thought I didn’t wanna talk to him anymore, which honestly, no. I even explained to him, I said; “i’m confused. i’ve mentioned before i struggle with social interaction, and when u say things where i can’t think of a response, and when i don’t know, u seem upset. socializing is hard to do for me” and he kept going on about how it didn’t seem like I wanted to talk to him or see him (btw, he never asked to hang out or anything). I had to leave him on read cuz he wasn’t understanding and he went on to say; “Apparently I should say nothing.” and after that i just honestly stopped talking to him.

Idk, I feel like I may be an a**hole but I also don't feel like he can understand how stressful it is for me to socialize with someone who can't understand my social boundaries. So AITA?
