Mowing the lawn. I've had to stop
Not sure if it's ADHD or some sort of mild OCD. I decided to stop doing my lawn because of the obsession to get it perfect, basically taking up a whole day of the weekend for a simple mow to front and back lawn.
I obsessed over anything that needed to be done ie gardening and exterior house cleaning, even if the plan was to just do the lawn I'd end up out there for hours doing many other chores. It was taking up a lot of time (the whole day some times) because I couldn't not do it once I see it. And it didn't make me feel relaxed once it was done, I'd still obsess over the things that didn't get done.
For some reason now that someone else is doing it for me (paid service) I don't obsess about it being not perfect. I don't know why that is? But this will need to change, it's too expensive! A paid service is great for the mind but not so good for the hip pocket.
