Crim and Civ Lit exam notes

Hi all, I'm starting the bar course this week and had a look through the white books and Blackstone. Was wondering what tips or strategies you recommend for preparing revision notes?

Were digital notes/software helpful? Did anyone go old school in their approach?

Looks like some providers are not giving out a hard copy of Blackstone, just an e-copy, which does have printing permissions.
