Fishy? Or Deserved?

I want to start by saying Cassie’s talent was INCREDIBLE. I want to start like this because her talent was so good that maybe her win was 100% earned and nothing is nefarious.

I just can’t shake the feeling that it’s just not a coincidence to me that she originally didn’t win Miss NY and the original winner had an “issue” that caused her to lose her title. Then Cassie, who didn’t have a crowning moment, gets Miss NY and suddenly wins the entire pageant…

In my MAO state pageant, the winner joined legit two weeks after paper work was due… is Miss America becoming pay to play?!
