£3000 for ridge tile rebedding?

I'm based in the UK, what would be a reasonable price for having approximately 18 metres of ridge tiles rebedding on a semi-detached bungalow? First quote was £3000 which was twice as much as I was expecting based on some research on Google, but was from a reputable and trusted local roofing company (in high demand). In the process of getting more quotes but would be interested to hear other people's experience.
