NSC PP Chen statistics

General

Following my previous posts. If you're working with Chen, you can ask them for their inner statistics within any time ranges and they will provide it if they have it.

There is statistics for NSC
NSC between January 1 and September 1, 2025:

  1. Overall premium-processed NIW success rate (upfront PP + upgraded to PP): 96.1%

  2. Upfront premium processing (filed with PP from the start): 94.2%

  3. Upgraded to premium processing (filed regular, upgraded later): 98%
Statistics for NSC for the summer 2025 (3 months) with regular and upgraded to PP after

For NIW cases that received their decisions from NSC the success rate is around 96% for cases upgraded to premium processing at a later stage.

the RFE rate is 21.21% for cases upgraded to premium processing at a later stage.

For TSC RFE rate is higher, success rate is around the same.

So one of the conclusions that could be made from this and my previous posts that at the beginning on the year around 1/50 of Chen PP clients got denials. During the summer it become ~1/25.

Second conclusion is that if you're doing PP, do it in 2-step. Send as regular and then upgrade to PP right after. It slightly increases chances, probably because of how cases assigned to officers.

My guess is that if you do PP upfront, it highly possible that your case will be assigned to some productive officer who is doing a lot of cases very fast. And your case will be assigned to officer by IL or AZ USCIS office. If you upgrade later, your case will be assigned to officer by USCIS TX or Chicago office. Probably the difference in approval rate between upfront or upgraded later to PP because of the offices who assign to officers. Maybe they use different assignment algorithms or something. But this is just guess\speculation.

Chen has ~40-60 approved NIW cases each week.

If you want more details, some specific ranges etc ask Chen directly in 'message' page on their case management website.
