Latest experience of Haircut using scissors

Just got a haircut today. Barber was using scissors and i noticed sensitivity in my right ear. I have had tinitus for about a year now and have 2-3 haircuts but it’s the first time haircut caused slight pain in ears. I use earplugs in loud noises and have protected my ears. But this slight hyperacusis is really freaking me out. I hope it just doesn’t worsen . My tinnitus has not worsened atleast so that’s good. I’ve heard people with noise indiced tinnitis got some degree of hyperacus and evenually it faded away. I would love to hear your experiences.
