Did I find a great deal, or is it average considering area?

I recently signed on for a 1 bed in Mimico, 1450 plus hydro. it's a top floor, quaint but not cramped, renovated apartment. Seems clean and quiet. It has parking and laundry.

To me it seems like a very nice deal, but then again maybe some people don't like this area or consider it undesirable... what's your opinion?
