Pov when your gluttony for stealing pens after trimax doesn't stop
So back in my 9th–10th class days, I got way too obsessed with fancy pens. Every time I saw a new expensive pen, I just had to buy it. Problem? I didn’t have money of my own.
I started secretly taking small amounts from my mom’s purse and the home mandir to buy those pens. I know it was wrong, but at that time, my 14-year-old brain didn’t really think about consequences.
One day, my parents noticed how I was suddenly getting these expensive pens and confronted me. Out of panic, I lied and said I got them “for free.” Somehow, I managed to escape that time…
But I didn’t stop. After some days, I did it again. And this time, they caught me. My mausi was also at our house that day, and they confronted me in front of her too. I was so scared and embarrassed that I finally admitted I stole the money.
That day, I got a proper beating. And honestly, I deserved it. But the thing that still hurts me the most isn’t the beating… it’s the fact that I broke my parents’ trust.
Even now, years later, whenever my parents casually ask, “Ye pen kaha se laya?” — I freeze inside. They don’t even bring up that incident anymore, but I still regret it deeply.
I wish I could go back and stop myself. I hate that younger version of me who didn’t understand the value of money and trust.
I’m 17 now, and I know I’ve grown, but I still can’t fully forgive myself for what I did. I wrote the story in hinglish from. Chatgpt than asked to convert it in english so sorry if it sounds kinda overdramatic somewhere
