Advice for restoring vintage speakers

Wanting to get into (casually) restoring vintage speakers as a hobby / side income. Would mostly be buying speakers in working order and just reforming, refinishing, etc... Might consider replacing actual electrical parts down the road as I learn more.

Does anyone have any experience? If so, has it been worth your time and effort? Do you typically sell locally to avoid shipping costs?

Again, not expecting to rake in cash doing this. I'm approaching from a hobby level with the hopes of making a modest profit per pair. Any advice is welcome, thanks in advance!
