Hello from me and my little eyeless gargoyle. He's a year old and has been living with me for three months now. In this time I've learned that he is curious, energetic and loves company - and contrary to all the advice I read prior to adopting a blind cat, he doesn't really like his environment to stay the same as he quickly gets bored. So! I'm asking for advice because I'm quickly running out of ideas. We have all the standard things - scratching posts and trees, puzzle feeders, wand toys, ball and mouse toys that beep/crinkle/chime, kicking toys, snuffle mats, tunnels etc. He particularly likes sniffing out hidden treats, chasing his cat buddy around the house, hunting feather wand toys and rough wrestling. We're working with a harness so he can go outside to explore, but he's not comfortable wearing it yet. I'm wondering if people with more experience on young blind cats have ideas on how to keep one entertained? He's not as interested in solo play as his sighted buddy (who is perfectly happy to hunt a felt mouse on his own for an hour). I play with him when I'm at home, but I'm at work for 8+hours most days and while the other cat plays with him daily, he's more of a solitary type than Mr. Pay Attention To Me At All Times over here. I'm particularly looking for ways to engage his little brain cells, because he takes care of physical exercise well enough on his own by running and climbing.

tl:;dr What are some of you guys' favourite games, toys and activities with your sightless kitties?
