Best Pool Deck Material for Phoenix Heat

I just bought a house in Phoenix and I am needing to remodel my pool deck. I am leaning towards pavers but there are so many options and I have heard conflicting views about pavers in the Phoenix summer. Does anyone have any recommendations or love what they chose for a deck material? I am trying to take cost, heat resistance, and slipperiness into account.
