How would Math AI HL compare to Math AA SL in difficulty? (Subject selection help needed)

I'm currently selecting subjects and I plan to go into medical engineering(any form of it)

I've locked in on: Bio HL Chem HL Buisness Management SL English Lit SL Arabic Acquisition Physics SL(trying to make this work)

My issue is I'm seeing too many mixed responses on whether or not I can get into biomedical engineering collages with AI HL, I've seen some that exclusively accept AA HL, some that accept both HL but prefer AA, some that just accept any HL without preference and some that exclusively require AA.

I'm aiming for a good scholarship, so I don't wanna put my grade at stake by going for AA HL and getting overwhelmed, however I do feel like AA SL is a safer choice, but like I said before some collages require HL, so I'm seriously lost at what I should do
