Reading through Job.

Hello, so i am currently reading through Job again as my Bible study. And im having an issue with the back and forth conversations. In the conversations, Job says some good arguments that he did nothing wrong, and his friends give reasons that he did something in order to be punished. But it gets confusing, as there are verses from both parties which have knowledge that benefits my life. How do I know which passages are speaking to a good way to view the Lords grace and punishment, vs which passages should serve as how not to act when receiving problems in life.
