Off the robinhood waitlist

Today I was informed that I am off the robinhood gold credit card waitlist, later as I was about to go for the soft pull, I remembered something regarding the gold subscription, found out that I would be charged directly for it through my credit card.

Would the card be that much of useful as an individual who isn't using robinhood?
