Is bazelgeuse gear locked behind a special quest or something.

Ive been able to collect a few bazelgeuse peices, but haven't gotten the armor to show in the workshop. I have captured or killed one yet, and am wondering if its locked until a specific story quest.

I just got past the pink rathalos.
