Military buyback concerns after DRP

My mother is due to retire at the end of September, she took the DRP. She intends to buy back her military time but HR hasn’t given her any information on the deposit or any of the details. She has to be in pay status before that’s finalized. What can she do considering she’d be off the roles after the 30th?
