GC3 Software (Junk?)

I’ve seen several posts where folks say the Foresight software is junk.

I’m thinking of getting a GC3 instead of the ProTee VX solely for the fact that I read the GC3 will work with an iPad. I want to make sure this is something I enjoy before building out a full simulator with retractable screen, computer, projector, etc. The GC3 connected to an iPad and streamed to a tv will allow me to hit into my net to see if this is going to be a true hobby or one of my money wasting adventures.

Can anyone elaborate on what is meant by the GC3 software is junk?
