I made gum for periods… and I don’t know if I should keep trying
Story time.
A year ago I was chewing Neuro Gum during finals week (the focus/energy one) and thought — why is there gum for everything else but literally nothing for periods?? Women deal with cramps, mood swings, and insane cravings every month, and all we get is painkillers, teas, and “just deal with it.” Meanwhile, every other product in the world is marketed to men or general productivity.
So I started experimenting. At first it was just me, then I gave some to my friends to test. They kept coming back for more and swore it actually made a difference:
- Cucumber mint gum → calms mood swings + bloating
- Strawberry rose gum → eases cramp pain
- Blueberry lavender gum → takes the edge off cravings
Each pack comes with 50 pieces, so you’ve got plenty to chew whenever you need a little period relief.
I’m even working on chocolate bites that do the same thing, because chocolate + periods is basically mandatory.
Here’s the thing — I’ve poured a year into making these snacks hormone-friendly and actually helpful, but getting them out there has been insanely hard. I’ve been dreaming about eventually expanding into a full period-healthy snack store, but I can’t do that without knowing women actually want it.
So here’s my ask — if this sounds like something you’d actually use, there’s a waitlist. Everyone who joins gets an extra pack for free with their first order. I just want to see if women really want this, or if I’ve been shouting into the void for a year.
I don’t want to give up on something that could make periods a little easier. And honestly? It feels ridiculous that it’s taken this long for someone to even try.
