Hey everyone,

I love using Notion for all my projects, but my biggest bottleneck has always been capturing research notes from the web. The constant cycle of copy, switch tab, paste, switch back was a real focus-killer.

To solve this for myself, I built a Chrome extension called **Copy2Note**.

It lets you highlight text on any page, hit a keyboard shortcut, and it instantly creates a new entry in a specific database you've chosen. The highlighted text goes directly into the page title, so all your clippings are organized from the start.

I built it to scratch my own itch, but I'm hoping it might be useful for other students, researchers, or anyone who saves a lot of information from the web. It also has a feature to save to Google Sheets, but the core idea was born from my Notion workflow.

You can find it on the Chrome Web Store here:[https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/copy2note/kkokefonefedoindogkackhkbgchlhjg](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/copy2note/kkokefonefedoindogkackhkbgchlhjg)

I'd love to hear any feedback you have!

To speed up my research workflow, I made an extension to clip text to specific Notion database properties.
