Cat liver enzyme spike after stopping Prednisolene, do these ever have a correlation?

My cat was on a diet trial to figure out if she has a food allergy. The first part of the trial involved a special diet along with 5mg of Prednisolone a day for 2 weeks. This finished on 4/9/25, the next stage being the same elimination diet with no meds. My cat is a big eater, she did not like this food and did not binge as she otherwise would. Shes went from 6kg on 27/7 - 5.7kg on 6/9. On 5/9/25 she started vomiting in the afternoon, 4 times of just bile. She had refused to eat her diet food that day and begged for other food. I gave her some chicken. At 4am Im woken up to her wandering around the house vomiting bits of bile, maybe around 10 times. On 6/9/25 she goes to the vet who provides anti nausea and takes a blood test, urine attempted but she wet herself in the carrier (she does this in car rides longer than 15 mins). The vet appointment was very rushed and I was not asked about diet, pre existing conditions, medication etc. The blood test showed one of her liver enzyme levels on the higher side, one being a bit more higher than normal but not as high as the other. He also mentioned blood cell abnormality. Im trying to get her in with her normal vet asap for a urine test. Im going crazy with worry she could have liver disease. She hasnt thrown up since the morning of 6/9/25, but did have some diarrhea later that day. I wish the vet had asked these questions about medication, I feel in the dark. Can stopping this steroid cause a spike in liver enzymes and some intestinal issues? Could it be her not eating as much causing liver disease?
