Celiac Groups In LI, NY?

Are there any local groups in Long Island, New York or New York City that get together at dedicated gluten-free restaurants just to make new friends or develop a more supportive social network?

I’ve personally found it pretty difficult to make non-celiac friends and am wondering if anyone else is in this struggle. Genuinely looking to build some connections and make friends with others who are struggling with celiac and other autoimmune related issues.

There’s really only a handful of restaurants on Long Island but it would be cool to meet others in the same position. Let me know!!
