question from returning player

Any counter play against the reworked/buffed clown? you cant play distance, you cant play pallets, if you’re chased early on then your forced to either pre drop a lot of pallets early or take the early down, especially when every clown is running RB and ML. I expect that you can still manage a decent chase by pre dropping some and then doing what ever else you can to keep the chase going without burning too much, but on smaller maps it feels like this calls for an inevitable snowball situation, at least while solo queueing
