Left handed struggles with right-handed salmon fishing/ocean fishing setups. Any Solutions?

Hello everyone... I seem to struggle with reeling in these large right-handed reels without my whole rod rotating. I know it is mostly due to bad reeling technique, but are there any other ways I can mitigate this problem?
