Season 2 is misunderstood?
I’ve been a big fan of both s1 & s2 of euphoria for a long time now. I had a chance at reading a rough drafted summary of the first 3 episodes before the show came out. I loved the first season & when the second season was released, it was pretty much exactly what I had expected to happen with the show where as it seems a lot of people did NOT like it whatsoever calling it a “Mess” or “Sam’s personal vision”, but I also noticed at the time, the people who were watching s2 along with me and the people around me I spoke to about the show loved season 2 UNTIL they started to read online that it wasn’t as well perceived. IMO people seeing social media not love s2 made viewers almost look for flaws or look for reasons not to like it because that was the “popular opinion”. Personally, everything felt like a strong continuation for me. It’s a season i expect… The consequences of choices made in season 1 (like a lot of other very popular shows). season 2 ultimately works for me as a powerful companion to the first season. developing the world, deepening character arcs & emotionally raw experience powered by bold creative risks. What’s the biggest thing most of you guys have against season 2? Genuinely curious because I’ve personally never understood.
