at the “healthiest” weight ive ever been in my life (even if im still overweight)
I (19F) weighed myself this morning at 163 lbs and it felt amazing. For context, two years ago I was at my highest weight of 212 lbs. For the next year after that I put in the work and got down to 165. I weighed in at 165 right before I moved states and graduated high school. Unfortunately after I moved I stopped being consistent with exercise. Along with eating out a lot more than I did back home since I wanted to try new restaurants, I ended up gaining some weight back. A little over a year after I moved (which was this August) I weighed myself in at 173 lbs. I was devastated as I felt like I was throwing away the work I previously put in. Within the last month I locked in and dropped down to 163, which isnt much of a difference from 165 but im glad to be losing weight again.
im still overweight and have a stomach but this is the “healthiest”/lowest weight ive been in my entire life. it feels great being back on track because the more weight i lose the more it feels like im unlocking a new and better version of myself that has never existed. i was always the fat kid, i dont have a solid memory of me ever being at a healthy weight and not being out of shape. just felt good about it and wanted to share :)
