Fitness Your Way / Anytime Fitness (BCBS)

I am choosing between BCBS’s two gym membership options, Fitness Your Way and Active and Fit. I want to use this membership to get access to an Anytime Fitness close to my apartment. The specific Anytime Fitness location is not on either Fitness Your Way or Active and Fit’s programs. However, I know that with Active and Fit you can join another Anytime Fitness that is within the network, wait 30 days, and then access any Anytime Fitness with the membership fob, including locations that are not technically on the Active and Fit network.

Does anyone know if this is the same case with Fitness Your Way? Do you join one in network Anytime Fitness as a “home” gym and then receive access to any location with the fob?
