What if we’ve actually seen a photo of H&L together but not realised it?

This thought has come up a few times in my mind when I’ve seen AI or edited photos of H&L in the past, but I’ve never expressed it before. But after it popping up in my mind again today after seeing a manip of them that featured Louis in the green top from NY last week, I thought I’d see what others thought. Maybe it’s just me that’s had this thought - who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

We see A LOT of edited / AI photos of H&L. Personally, I’m not a fan of these and found it very confusing especially when I was new to the fandom. I quickly however accepted that any photo of them together post 2015 was not real.

No disrespect to people who create the manips / AI images - I just personally don’t like them. I also am aware that for some fans they are a source of comfort - even though they know that they’re not factual.

What I noticed following the appearance of the recent Zouis photo was the assumption by many that this was edited and wasn’t real. Although, as we now know, it was real and they were together in Tennessee.

So this is my question - what if amongst all the AI or edited photos we’ve seen of H&L together over the years there was in fact a real one lurking in plain sight?

With all the coding and signalling that’s gone on by H&L it doesn’t feel like too much of a stretch to imagine this being something that they would potentially do - in fact, I feel like it would be a very Louis thing to do tbh!

We won’t know for sure, of course. But what I think we can be sure of is that we’ll keep seeing edited or AI images of them together as they create lots of engagement. I don’t personally read the comments etc on them but it seems like they are getting people talking. And I wonder if we’ll start seeing more and more of them in the coming months.

It’s also unlikely we’ll see a photo of H&L together that is able to be proved as authentic - even with a “just friends” narrative. The buzz that would result from it would be immense!

So what do people think? Is it just me that has crazy ideas like this …
