Replit Migration - Is the grass greener on the Dyad side?

Yesterday some changes were done to the replit platform that seemed to have increased cost by about 7-10x per agent edit. Still cheaper than a developer of course, but don't like the idea of something going up that much overnight. They raised a bunch of money so i guess they gotta pay it back through redundant edits and increased fees. I changed my usage limit which trigerred a hard stop and my database shutdown rendering my program useless for over a week until their "support" reactivates the api which still hasn't happened. I switched to supabase and it switched it back to a new neon account without my approval..shady..

I am a novice to everything, 3-4 months in, need an agent of some kind.

The future is going to favor those who own their own code and it seems like i'm still leasing it with replit or atleast paying a premium to develop.

What I read about dyad and what seems to be the big difference beside cost is that Dyad and the llm of my choice will act like more of a jr devoloper have more of a memory after learning for a while and will carry out tasks with the overarching goals and rules i set in mind, rather than starting from scratch.

Is making the switch a big pain for someone like me? I am working on a call center solution and soon a crm with email&text capability. Appreciate your insight!
