Best Place to Move with Young Kids

Hi everyone,

My young family is planning to move to NY state mid next year because we have close family in NYC who we want to be closer to. We’re hoping to live somewhere upstate to avoid the high cost and hustle/bustle of the city.

We have young kids that will likely start kindergarten months after our move, but are still in daycare. Hence, we’re hoping to find an affordable, family-friendly, immigrant-friendly community that’s hopefully not farther than 3-4 hours from NYC.
