Will probably have to take an extra year and really stressing about telling my parents.

I live with my parents and my mom pays for my tuition. I’m the first in my family to go to college and my parents have gone through a lot to make my life easier and I feel so guilty knowing that I’m letting them down. I’m terrified to tell them that I will have to take a whole year more to graduate. My parents are also the type to compare me with other people’s kids and I don’t know what they’ll think of me when I tell them. A big part is that we’re running out of money to pay for my college and my mom has started to borrow money. She hates being in debt and she probably think’s it’ll be all over soon so I’m worried it’ll be devastating for her. Yes I’m working a part time job but it’s not enough and I don’t want to overwork myself and make my academic situation worse. I dont care about being in college for longer I’m just worried about affecting my parents. I’ve never been this anxious and depressed in my life part of me just wants to disappear.
