Would Charlie Kirk Still Reject Gun Control?

I want to preface this by saying what happened yesterday was NOT okay. This is a serious question and is not intended to be inflammatory.

Had Charlie Kirk survived the events of yesterday, do we think he would have used the assassination attempt to further a pro-gun rhetoric? Or would he have changed his stance entirely?

Based on his prior comments about gun deaths being “worth it” to maintain second amendment rights, I personally believe he might take accountability through this experience to say “hey, I am now a victim of gun violence, and I still stand by the fact that Americans have a right to bare arms”.

Based on how he might have handled this situation had he survived, does that impact the way we as a society should view his death?
