Positive mantoux but quantiFERON coming up. Could this be a False Positive?

21F. I recently got a Mantoux (tuberculin skin test) done for university requirements, and it came back positive, so l'm taking a QuantiFERON blood test tomorrow to confirm. I had the BCG vaccine at birth, have no symptoms and have never been near anyone with TB. For context, my previous tests were: November 2023 - negative, August 2024 - some induration but considered fine, and now 3 days ago - positive. Could this sudden positive be due to an immune boost from previous exposures or tests or is it more likely a true positive? Also, is it safe and reliable to take QuantiFERON just a few days after the Mantoux? Has anyone else experienced a positive Mantoux but negative QuantiFERON, and is this common?
