Appropriate Cap comics for a 10 year old?

Hello! My son just requested Captain America comics for his birthday. I am not very familiar with his comics though, so I am not sure what to get him. I know some runs and writers are likely to be more kid friendly than others, but I am not sure which.

I'm looking for: More progressive, probably nothing really old if there was unaddressed racism and sexism in them but maybe there wasn't?

He likes the winter soldier a lot. But his story seems pretty dark. Are there kid appropriate comics featuring him?

He wants lots of action and fighting scenes of course, but I'd like to avoid anything super gory.

With the current political climate I wouldn't mind suggestions that reinforce that Nazis are bad lol
