Discontinuation of loyalty discount? 9/1

I’m not sure if anyone else on the network is having their loyalty discount revoked because of discontinuation; this is just ridiculous in my opinion. The fact they don’t value customers who have been with them for years and are grandfathered in to then charge them an extra 25$? Where is the loyalty from Verizon? They state “As Verizon continues to innovate and enhance its plans and services to better cater to the needs of our valued customers, we must also make some adjustments. This includes,unfortunately, the discontinuation of 25$ loyalty discounts effective from 9/1/2025, my sincere apologies for that.”

Make that make sense Verizon; how are you better catering to your loyal customers by taking their agreed upon loyalty discounts? Is anyone else experiencing this change? I think I will unfortunately have to be switching services because Verizon is not worth the price they ask for and now they are punishing loyal customers.
