A Happy But Horrifying Ending?

Theory

Okay, so the world government is the ultimate antagonist of the series, no doubt about that. And at its center, is Imu.

If this is the case, I see three endings for One Piece.

1)Sad - Imu kills the Strawhats, and the cycle of pain continues across the one piece world until it all eventually sinks.

2)Open ended - Unclear ending, Luffy and the strawhats find the one Piece, he becomes the King of the pirate king, and the story ends with us knowing the void century, but the war with the WH is left unresolved, maybe they'll hint at the revolutionaries destroying Mary Jois or something. Sort of like a Watchmen type ending.

3)Happy - Luffy destroys Imu, and thus the WG in turn, freeing all the world territories from the WG grasp.

The third one horifies me more than the other two because it's laced with all sort of difficult decision (maybe not so dificult, you can decide).

Whatever this final battle would be like, Luffy is certainly going to be the main attraction, his power and display would most likely earn him the respect of the pirate world. In battle, making him earn the pirate king title.

Now I know he said that being the pirate king would make the moast free person and he isn't intrested in Rulling. But wheter he likes it or not, he's gonna have to make some decisions, very tough ones.

Que in the Celestial Dragon, obviously with Imu gone, most of the God knights will automatically die because yk, immortality and stuff. So the celestial Dragons are now defenseless and at the mercy of the world, and the slaves they have there, who are stronger than they are physically, Do you see where I'm going with this.

Luffy, whether directly or indirectly, is gonna have to decide what happens to the Celestial Dragons.

Which makes me wonder, IS LUFFY GONNA ORDER A MASS GENOCIDE OF THE CELESTIAL DRAGONS?

We know he hates them, he punched on, two if you consider Saturn. So is he gonna order the pirates to "kill them all".

Meaning One Piece's happy ending may end in a bloodbath.

What convinces me so is because we've already seen this with the donquixote family and Doflamingo. How they were treated when they lost their status?

So either luffy will say "Do whatever you want". It will still end in a bloodbath. If he doesn't say anything, it will still end in a bloodbath. Whether he leads this directly or indirectly, whatever horrifying payback the people have in store for the Celestials will still be on him, because he's their hero, who gave them leeway to do all of the things they have planned.

Now personally, I would very much love to see these demons put through the ringer. So this isn't in defense of the CD, I'm for that happening.

However I'm worried about the tone that this will be portrayed. Will it be shown as disturbing, a huge morb of freed slaves and citizen climbing up Mary Jois and breaking the CD down in all manner of Horrifying ways, whilst the marines and the revolutionaries watch in horror as the people release all their pant up fruastration. Maybe Koby will step in and be like "Guys we mustn't be like them okay?", causing another after war.

Or will it be a shown in a happy go tone, where the CD are shown being completely pathetic and hopeless, and being mocked by everyone but it's treated in a comedic way, and they are maybe....even...redeemed( yeesh that was hard to type). And the revolutionaries make a deal with the Marine and they form some sort of new vanguard to ward off the bad pirate underworld, who knows.

Point is, whatever happens, Luffy's name is gonna be dragged with it as justification as he is the embodiment of freedom and savior of the world. Whether it's a revenge torture fest, or a calm revolution.

How do you think that One piece is gonna handle the aftermath of the happy ending? Will it be light hearted turn over of power, or dark hunt of celestial dragons by common folk? And what role do you think Luffy will play in how the CD are dealt with.
